Day 28 of 28 Enroute USA - Friday Nov 15, 2013

Omega amigos & amigas.  Oops, wrong language for this location.  Yes, we are at the END of this adventure.  Awaiting us curbside, well canal side, is our last trusty steed for a high speed ride to the airport.  An agent 007 James Bond style speedboat.  Zoom-zoom.  Too bad it is dark and rainy, so photos are next to impossible.  I do have the answer I tell Carol – another CAMERA? A waterproof one?  She doesn’t respond.  I wonder why?

We have about 6 more of our group with us on this bumpy ride to the airport.  As promised, a 7 minute walk to the entrance.  Some of the covered walkway limited how wet we got.  Dragging our bags made it hard to carry an umbrella for protection.

We had no problem either in the air, or catching our connection in Frankfort to Detroit.

The cab brought us home and saw the cold weather was there to welcome us.  We made a brief stop home to dial up the furnace and water heater and off to our usual post-trip restaurant – Antonio's.  What did we order?  What else – pizza.  Hot and tasty, just like we remember from so many other places over the prior month.

Photo 1.  Yep. at the gate, well ahead of time to leave.  No cancellation because of weather noted.

Photo 2.  Shows two of our group, Alice on right, who I left with many arm kisses to have her release the key during our Renaissance skit in Florence.  Her daughter Chris is at the left.  Alice’s daughter Jannette, not shown in the photo, was also there.  How lucky to have the companions for support

Photo 3.  Home Sweet Home – no it has burned down as so often imagined   (-:
